Open day for fund for Merseyside creative firms
A fund manager that wants to invest in the region’s creative and digital firms is holding an open day next week at Liverpool Chamber of Commerce.
The event will help Chamber members meet the team from Merseyside Special Investment Fund (MSIF) to discuss potential investment opportunities.
MSIF is currently investing through two funds – the Merseyside Loan & Equity Fund and the Merseyside Small Loans for Business Fund.
The Loan & Equity Fund provides finance to established businesses, with at least two years of trading, based in Merseyside.
The Merseyside Small Loans for Business Fund is aimed at businesses which use or create technologies and innovations.
Speaking to LDP Creative in December, MSIF investment manager Chris Walters said the small loans pot was particularly suited to digital and creative firms.
