River Festival on the Waterfront: Download the full programme of events
The new-look River Festival is the third in the series of hugely popular 'On the Waterfront' events which have taken place in 2011.
With six days of free activities for all the family including the inaugural visit of the Queen Elizabeth cruise liner on the 8th September, followed by the Queen Mary 2 cruise liner on the 15th September.
The River Mersey will be the stage for one of Liverpool's most exciting sporting events of the year when the UK's top power boat racers arrive for the final round of the P1 Power Boat SuperStock Champion from the 10th -11th September.
The event will also feature live performances from R&B sensation Beverley Knight along with reggae band Abelwell Foundation, CJ Jazz Quintet and rock n' roll band The Sixteen Tonnes.
