A delegation from Vietnam has visited Liverpool to help local firms forge links with the south-east Asian state.
The delegation, hosted by Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, included representatives from the Ministry of Trade and Industry and from Vietnam Airlines.
Delegates hosted a seminar at the Chamber about doing business in Vietnam, before they attended a networking lunch with Mersey businesses.
They also visited the Town Hall and toured the Port of Liverpool.
Elena Enciso, international trade executive at Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, said: “Vietnam remains a very attractive business destination.
“There are tax breaks and incentives for foreign businesses and companies are encouraged to research the potential for their own business.”
Vietnam, which has a population of some 83m, is one of Asia’s fastest-growing economies.
