Watch the Liver Building's spectacular 3D projection
The centenary of Liverpool's Royal Liver Building and the opening of the new Museum of Liverpool was celebrated, from the 22nd-24th July, with a 3D projection event illuminating the city's waterfront.
3D Son et Lumiere, by Czech company The Macula, projected Liverpool's 800 year history on to the Pier Head buildings over three nights from 22 July till 24 July.
The free event, which attracted thousands of people to Liverpool's waterfront, was accompanied by musical performances.
Blues singer Connie Lush performed on the Friday evening, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra on the Saturday night and local group 6ix Toys on Sunday.
The event is the first in the UK by The Macula company which created a 600th anniversary show for Prague's Astronomical Clock.
