Supporting Women’s Business Start Up and Development

Over half the working age population are women, but they remain under-represented in all forms of economic activity, and this is particularly the case when it comes to business ownership.

BusinessLiverpool recognises that the city can benefit hugely in social and economic terms if more women were enabled to start and grow their own businesses. Given that women are a relatively untapped entrepreneurial market, coupled with BusinessLiverpool’s commitment to increasing the numbers of women starting and growing in the city, we have developed a joint partnership arrangement with local award winning women’s enterprise agency, Train 2000 Ltd.

Women from the Liverpool area can now access free a full range of services to help them to explore whether running a business is for them; access grants and loans; develop their business plan, and expand and make their business more profitable.

To access the full range of services please visit www.train2000.org.uk or contact Train 2000 on 0151 236 6601.
