Helping Local Businesses with Business Information

Access to extensive information and resources are available to local businesses through the Liverpool City Library service. In addition to a range of official publications the Business and Technology section at Liverpool Central Library provides:

• Access to a wide range of electronic databases containing extensive company information; credit checks, annual reports, financial information and research statistics
   
• Access to databases that contain comprehensive legal information (but not advice) including legislation, case law, tax and legal directories
   
• Access to scientific and technical information including information on patents, trade marks, technical standards and research and development issues
   
• Market research reports including up to date product and sector reports from Mintel and Key Note; and
   
• Access to an online news database for registered library users.
